Squid Game X Upgrades Guide
Complete Squid Game X upgrade priority guide. Which stats to level first for Red Light Green Light, coin farming, and late-game modes on Roblox.

Upgrade System Overview
Squid Game X Upgrades are permanent stat boosts purchased with coins earned in matches and Active Codes. redifi designed the tree so early investments snowball — faster runs mean more coins per hour, funding later nodes. All Upgrades persist across sessions on Game ID 7554888362.
The upgrade menu lives in the lobby near shop interfaces. Each node displays cost, current level, and stat effect. Costs scale exponentially — efficiency matters more at high levels. Use Tier List rankings to avoid dumping coins into low-impact branches.
Upgrades interact with VIP game pass (349 Robux) indirectly: VIP doubles coin income, making expensive late nodes affordable sooner. Redeem active Active Codes from Active Codes before your first major purchase batch.
Priority Order for New Players
Level 1 priority — Movement Speed: improves every mode with locomotion. Red Light Green Light green phases, Mingle cluster runs, and Hide and Seek escapes all benefit. This is the highest return-first stat in Beginner Guide recommendations.
Level 2 priority — Stamina / Endurance: extends sprint duration in Pentathlon, Jump Rope positioning, and Tug of War sustained pulls. Without stamina, speed alone dies mid-race.
Level 3 priority — Luck or Minigame-specific bonuses if available in current patch: helps Marbles, Honeycomb crack patterns, and Glass Bridge safe panel odds. Verify current upgrade tree in-game — names may shift after Update 11.
Level 4+ — cosmetic-adjacent stat nodes and luxury branches. Chase these after VIP or consistent farming from Coin Farming.
- 1. Speed — universal mobility
- 2. Stamina — sustained activity modes
- 3. Luck / minigame bonuses — RNG-heavy rounds
- 4. Role-specific boosts — Guard, Frontman paths
- 5. Flex stats — completionist only
Mode-Specific Upgrade Tips
Red Light Green Light and Pentathlon want speed plus stamina — stop moving instantly on red, explode on green. See Red Light Green Light and Pentathlon for timing that stats alone cannot teach.
Honeycomb and Glass Bridge favor precision Upgrades over raw speed. Over-investing speed without control can cause overshoot deaths on narrow paths. Balance tree evenly after tier-one stats max.
Night Brawl, Rebellion, and Tug of War benefit from health or resistance nodes if present in the current tree. Read Night Brawl & Rebellion before specing into PvP-heavy branches.
Common Upgrade Mistakes
Maxing one stat while ignoring stamina creates a fast but gassed character who dies mid-Jump Rope. Spread early levels 2:1 speed to stamina.
Buying shop items that duplicate upgrade effects wastes coins — compare Shop & Items descriptions against owned upgrade levels.
Ignoring Active Codes and VIP while grinding Upgrades manually adds weeks of progress time. Stack all economy bonuses first.
Reset policies vary by patch — do not assume free respecs. Choose paths aligned with Tier List before spending endgame coin pools.
